Here some tips which hopefully make it easier to get around. As one of our new friends, one long standing member will be your “mentor” for your first year with us.  He or she will assist you with your first introduction to the club, your first Rotary steps and much more. Once entered the club officially, you should be contacted automatically from Claire Clausen (Claire.Clausen@gmail.com). Claire is one of the founding members, one of our past presidents of the club and knows a lot about us and Rotary. She will “hook” you up with one of our longer members who will be your “mentor” and first contact partner for the first year … your “one stop shop” so to say.

Our club secretary will be the first to contact you by mail and give you a membership number, which is a six digit number like this one “145756”. This is your Rotary International number. At the same time it is your key and password to the webpage rotary.dk and rotary.com

Rotary implies that Rotarians are participating in all meetings. Therefore you have to inform the club, if you’re not participating.
Now, as a truly international club with very international members traveling constantly this is kind of difficult … and we all know and acknowledge that. Nevertheless it is of immense importance for the Sergeant at Arms to know beforehand how many members are coming to a meeting, as every meal costs the club money. Money which we prefer to give to good causes instead of wasting for food which a) will be bought, cooked … and in case of a “no show” – be thrown away (…the worst for a community, which wants to help the poor). Therefore   -  p l e a s e   -   sign in and keep us posted!

Once accepted to the CIRC, our club secretary will register you at www.rotary.dk  and www.rotary.org. With the registration you will be informed by mail and receive your member number -  which is both "username" and "password" to www.rotary.dk  - where you should annonce your attendance every week.

In order to make this easier, we do have a link on this web-page. Go to “meetings” and click directly on the date of the event. This will lead you directly to rotary.dk, where you can sign in and confirm your attendance.

"MØDETITEL" is the topic of the day, "STED" is the location, where we meet and - this is IMPORTANT - once clicked on one single date ("MØDETITEL") you will find your name, your status ("Tilmeldt"=participating, "Afbud"=not participating, etc.) and "Bemærkning". If you come for that meeting, you should register latest on Friday before the meeting takes place by entering "confirmed" into this field  "Bemærkning", if you stay as well for dinner, please enter "confirmed + dinner" and if you bring a guest along, please enter "confirmed + 2 dinners". Do not close this page, before scrolling down and safe you entry by clicking on the blue field "Opdater", which means update/safe!! Now you're all set!

This procedure is rather important as our cook has to know in advance how many people come to eat. If you do not register this way, you risk not getting any food, although you paid for it! So remember - registration is important! It might be a good idea, once on the page to register in advance for several meetings. It takes you only a minute.

Please consult this web-page regularly as it is our main communication tool. You find further announcements and interesting notes, you find all updated members with their contact details and up-to-date e-mail address. To learn more about who is who … go to the member list “members”. You’ll find all details on their contact address, e-mail, telephone and cell numbers etc.

You are even able with a single mouse-click to send an e-mail via Outlook or Lotus Notes to all or selected members of our club. Due to our own privacy regulation you will need a password at a certain point. You will get this through your mentor or via the web-master and/or club secretary)

- pay your membership in time (- it's no fun for a fellow friend to chase money)

- if you have to re-arrange your 3-minutes - do it! the program committee is not interested in the process only in the result (=changes, if so).
