Please inform us in advance using this link

We meet every Monday at 17.00 to 18.30 at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel,
Hammerichsgade 1, 1611 Copenhagen
close to the Central railway station.

Copenhagen International Rotary Club has the distinction of being the
only Rotary club in Denmark to conduct business in the English language.

Our members are either expatriates working in Denmark, or Danish
citizens in international jobs. Male and female members are welcome.

Meetings:
Meetings take place every Monday at 5.00 p.m.
at Radisson Blu Royal Hotel,
Hammerichsgade 1, 1611 Copenhagen

The speakers at the meetings cover a wide variety of national and international subjects covering business, humanitarian and vocational areas, as well as cultural activities. Examples of subjects are shown in appendix.

Activities:
Copenhagen Rotary Club is committed to many of the activities of Rotary International. For several years we have been an active partner in the GSE (Group Study Exchange) programme for young business people, where we have hosted guests from countries such as Japan, South Africa, West Virginia and the Mid-West of the USA.

Copenhagen International Rotary Club also participates in the well-known Youth Exchange program. Each year we send a young person abroad to study and live in family, and we assist young high school students from abroad who come to study and live in Denmark.

International Aid projects
·         Copenhagen Rotary Club has a special International Committee. We are committed to assisting and supporting projects on an international scale using the worldwide Rotary organisation.
·         Our club has made financial donations to The Teddy Bear Foundation providing holidays for AIDS stricken children in Romania; and the Jaipur Foot Project in Africa for artificial limbs and feet.
·         We have been active in fundraising for "Clearing the landmines" in Sri Lanka and recently arranged a special concert in Christianskirken to support the rebuilding of the damages of the library at Christianhavns Gymnasium.

About our members
We strive for a ratio of:

  • 50% foreigners (ex-pats) living and working in Copenhagen
  • 50% Danes with a good international background and fluent English

CIRC has both male and female members and we seek a suitable gender balance.

CIRC is a young Rotary Club and we aim at including a good proportion of young members.

CIRC strives to keep up the culture and open atmosphere of the club. All proposed new members should therefore attend meetings as guests at least twice.

CIRC often has guests in the form of visiting Rotarians from other countries.

As a member of CIRC and Rotary International you can attend meetings in any other club anywhere in the world.
